I just bought a 2007 25' Crest Fisherman tritoon with a 225 yamaha. It idled really nice and when I took it home thru the canals it was great. When I came to open water, I gave it more throttle then it started to bog down wanting to stall. I babied it home and I am now researching what maybe the cause. It has sat for 3 months on a lift and the elderly gentleman I bought it from said it was running great the last time they took it out which was on the Gulf of Mexico. Any suggestions? I will start of course with the fuel systems filters and such. I brought 5 gals of fresh rec. fuel and sea foam which I put in with the old gas. His son said that they always put in fuel conditioner and did not buy rec. gas just used 10% E.
