I am getting error code 44 - Incorrect Engine Stop Lanyard Switch Signal.

The motor alarm is going off and the motor will turn over but won’t crank.

Lanyard?
by: Anonymous

is Lanyard in? if yes, there is a wiring problem with it. if you had schematic, you can short the signal in the ecm inputs to see if that works,
cheers

Almost seems too easy did you pull off your lanyard and then put it back on? If that does not solve the problem, then you may have a bad lanyard switch.
