Hi experts , I took my 32ft Fury cabin cruiser for a run yesterday and after warming up the engine increased the revs from 1500 rpm to about 2200 rpm (8knts to about 12) to test the engine temperature as overdue for a hull clean. The temp was ok and no black smoke however the engine revs dropped back to around 2000 from 2200 and then would not go
any higher. Given the growth on the bottom (normally at 2200rpm the speed
Is about 15knts) has the engine detected the higher load and gone into low power mode (is there one of these models)? If yes can this be reset? The vessel is coming out for a clean in two weeks so keen to work out if it is something to check when on the hard stand.
