Volvo Penta 5.7 GI-G 2008

Ran early in the season, now it cranks but won't start. Fuel rail 55 psi. Replaced coil/ignition module, TMAP sensor, crank position sensor, distributor cap/ rotor. Kill switch continuity checked. Can't find any loose connections or ground issues. Getting intermittent spark (visual from timing light), and tach flickers up but immediately drops back to 0 during start attempts (I think it used to/ should register the rotations during cranking). Have not verified if injectors are firing, there is no strong smell of fuel. But starter fluid in TB did not work either.
