Volvo Penta 2004 8.1 Gxii-D

A slight tapping noise seems to be coming from the top of the engine. Noise stops when removed #3 plug wire. We have replaced the plugs, the coil, #3 fuel injector and now the riser & manifold, but to no avail. Any thoughts?
