Engine is run about 6-9 hours daily.
First, I noticed engine pulsating at low rpm. Also at high rpm but not as noticeable. After a few days engine would not reach WOT which is 5600 RPM. It would only reach 4500 RPM.
Checked coil wires and found cylinder number three had a tear in the rubber boot so I purchased and installed a new coil. No change.
Checked the plugs which looked fine, but I put new ones in anyway. Still no change.
Disconnected fuel injector on cylinder one. Engine quit. Reconnected.
Disconnected fuel injector on cylinder two. Engine quit. Reconnected.
Disconnected fuel injector on cylinder three. No change. Reconnected.
Disconnected fuel injector on cylinder forum. Engine quit. Reconnected.
I determined the issue was with cylinder three so I installed a new fuel injector. Engine runs much smoother however, it still will not go above 4500 RPM.
After a few days of operation, I noticed fuel consumption had doubled for 2.5 hour run time at 4500 RPM from 6 gallons to 12 gallons.
Oil level has increased slightly and has a yellowish foam.
Also, I had just change the oil a few days prior to problem and tried to reset the blinking alarm but could not be reset. There is also no audible alarm now. The blinking has totally stopped on its own.
Big issue is mechanics in my area are parts changers just like me. They are not certified Suzuki technicians.
No place will assure me a timeframe of diagnosing my problem. I have a Tours business and I need this thing running ASAP.
