I replaced my head gasket and put my motor back together. It ran like a top. When I went to check my oil I found water in my oil. After removing the powerhead again I found I had the wrong engine holder gasket. Apparently there are two different types. My question is …..once I receive the new gasket, would you advise putting silicone sealer around the water jacket of the engine holder to help avoid leaks. I have seen this advised in a manual and also not advised.
