Suzuki df 140 2005

Hello, I'm having an issue with one of my motors. It's a Suzuki df140, the engines runs great. The only issue I've been having is power lost at times. Once the motor is in gear and moving forward if I use the trim and tilt automatically there's a drop in the engine power, once I let go trim and tilt botton engine runs 100%. What could be the problem? Changed the batery to a heavier amperage and still having same issue. Also I notice the lights on dashboard drops when using the trim and tilt as well

Hi,
trim and so on got nothing to do with motor. Normally. But if you have some wiring problem and the trim draws power from the alternator rather than from the battery that's what you get, overload and the motor slows down. Marine motors don't have torque too much so it will slow down>Often is the main power cable terminals corroded in the motor inside.
