Took it in to get winterized to an authorized Suzuki service dealer and they reported that the drive shaft is frozen and that all of the oil leaked out of the lower unit. It was running great all summer, and sat on the trailer unused for about 3 weeks before I took it in to get winterized.
How can something like this happen? The engine has less than 500 hours on it.
