I lost the trim and tilt motor on the port engine. Trimmed the engines down using the throttle switch putting down both engines. I think the port engine trimmed down before the starboard engine. I tried trimming them while on plan when I realized it wasn't working. During the day fishing I tried the other switches, gauge and motor, no response. Just before ending the day the trim came back for a short period, but lost it when I got to the dock. I changed the relay (new) but still nothing. Finished the season with the engine down. Pulled the boat in December and the trim began to operate, lasted a week while winterizing and failed again. Mech believes it's the trim motor. Preparing to change the motor I began taking things apart.I was able to access the PTT connector, so I decided to jump it out. The trim started right up without an issue. No voltage from the relay plug. I fished out the two Lt Bl wires in the connector. I am not getting continuity when the switch is opened or closed. I am hoping this is my issue, replacing the part next week, any similar issue? Would this prevent the PTT motor to stop working completely? It would not respond up or down.
