Hi all, this is my first post and I am hoping you can give me some advice. I ordered a 2022 Manitou triton with a 150 hp Suzuki back in Sept. of 2021. The triton has come into the dealer, but the motor has not. The dealer says engines are backed up and he does not get any notice from Suzuki that it is coming in until a couple of days before it arrives. I think I got a pretty good deal on this boat and no down payment. Do you think he is getting engines in, but placing them on other boats in the hopes I’ll just call it quits and he can sell the boat for more, or are things that back with deliveries? Posts I’ve searched mention several months, but not 10+.
