Just bought a used 2003 maxum has a 3.0 mercruiser in it. Launched it for the first time went up to park my trailer came back reversed out of the dock went to put it in forward and all it does is rev like it's in neutral still? I got frustrated and was reving it back and forth and it kicked into gear so I went back to neutral then back to forward and nothing again but reving. So I got home put the muffs on it and it worked perfectly fine?!?
