I have a 2007 Mercury 25hp and the last trip that I made with it, the motor starting idling high, so when I go to put it in forward or reverse with the tiller handle, it is hard to get it to go into gear. Is there anything that I can do to resolve this or does this sound like a problem that a professional would need to handle?
