engine will start and run for 15-20 seconds and shuts off. engine will only crank over and not start if you attempt to restart it right away. if you let it sit for a few it will restart and run for a few seconds again and shut down- no warning beepers and does this repeatedly, the morning before this problem started was fishing a tournament and was idling fine and shut down just before launching and would never restart. the primerball never got hard. took to shop and the vst stuck and bad diaphram. they fixed it and the next day ran fine to first spot and now this problem happened but primer ball stayed hard this time. the vst has stuck many times over the years owning the boat. i have had the fuel tank removed and cleaned and all the fuel lines replaced as well. ranger z20
