mercury 90 H.P. 2001 ELPTO

I have a issue with the trim. The motor will trim up and down when idling, if I trim up and hit the gas the motor drops down and will not trim back up while running it.

motor trims up and down with no problem, just cant hold trim after I throttle up and take off. Hydraulic issue maybe???? please help

Possibly a bad or loose connection in the switch on the binnacle, one of the two wires may have a faulty connection. Hope this helps, good luck.
