Took boat to lake today, idled fine and acted normal through no wake zone. When I tried to get it on plane at about 4K RPM, the motor made a loud whining noise and would not go. Motor did not die. Tried several times, same result.
Thought it was a spun hub, but when I took the prop off the hub was good. The boat is only 5 months old. I had it out and on plane on Monday. Do you have any ideas? Thanks,
