Mercury 50elp 2010

This motor is new to me, and came with nothing in the way of instrumentation save for a tach.

This I don't like, I like to monitor things.

The easiest fix was to install a Vesselview Mobile module. I did, but got some funny numbers and a funnier warning.

1. The warning is that it could not detect a horn. Horn? Maybe it meant an "error squealer"?

2. Oil pressure was 5 psi at idle and 60 psi running. This seems low and high to me, but I know nothing about outboards; back yard small block Chevy is more my style.

3. Oil temperature showed as 32 degrees F. Given a black motor sitting in the sun on an 80 degree day, this seemed wrong.

4. Water pressure showed as 0, although the motor was "peeing" out the top middle, which is, I think, normal. I wouldn't think it would "pee" at 0 psi ...

Any comments appreciated.
