I had my boat motor running at full speed, (25mph) when it sounded like i suddenly hit something below the boat in the water which cause the motor to roar at high rpm with out any forward motion from the boat. I hurried to turn the throttle down as soon as I lowered the rpm the boat started moving forward but only very slow. I went to turn the throttle back up and the forward motion stopped while all it did was howl from the high rpm. It appears something like a pin sheared off or something happen because I can't go full speed at all. What could cause this problem?
