Having a few problems with my tower of power. It starts ok, but i need to give it a little throttle to do it. Its struggling to stay in idle and get in to gear. When i get into gear it cant plane out. But occasionally it will work fine, idle good and plane out. I rebuilt the carbs and replaced fuel pump. Checked the stator it measured at 6.28, 6.29, and 150. The 6.28 is a touch above the 6.2 range but im thinking thats ok too. I put lights on the plugs and they all seem to have good spark. Looking for other suggestions, what else can i test? Had it running really good on muffs, so having a load on it seems to cause the problem.
