When trying to achieve full speed with the engine at full trim out it will not hold its position. On the vessel view screen the full trim out is shown on the gauge as +72. While it will trim out all the way to +72, as soon as i lift my finger of the button it will drop down to around +68 on the gauge. Also, if i hold my finger on the trim button it will cycle up and down from +68 to +72 and then rest at +68 when i lift my finger. If I gradually creep the trim out a bit at a time it sometimes will stay up at around +70 on the gauge.
My questions are: Is this normal? Is the engine doing this as i am overloading the trim unit?
