I just had a rebuilt 4.3L engine installed in my 1997 19' Chaparral. I had the same outdrive reinstalled with just a rebuilt engine installed.
I used to get 4600-4700 rpm's with just two of us in the boat and now the best I am getting is 4000 rpm's.
Any thoughts as to what might be the problem?
