ok,here is my question...
i have a 1982 mercury 115 with a 25''shaft,this is the motor that runs..
i also have a 1979 mercury 115 short shaft,this motor is locked up
now i want to know if i can just swap over the short shaft over to the 1982 motor with no problems??
