Is there a way to set the wot timing without the motor running? I know on merc you set it at like 2 or 4 ° less than it is when its running, can I do this on this Johnson? I just replaced the stator and our water is still frozen so I cant put it in yet. the local marine mechanic said he's never done this but thought if I set it at 24° before tdc it would be at 28° when running wot is this correct ??
