Just rebuilt powerhead on 89 johnson 88 hp with jet. Upon accelerating, water pours up the pivot shaft like a garden hose. Seems like the impeller is pumping the lower housing full of water. Checked the water tube is connected. motor bogs when this happens and wont run right. Cannot find the problem!
