I have an old Ocean runner I was getting back together after sitting a few years and made the mistake on a water test earlier this week by leaving a drain plug out. Got back ok but now have water in the gas tank.
I have drained and cleaned all carbs several times and have been trying to get her to run using a remote tank. I have changed spark plugs, checked for spark, but she seems to run on all 6 cylinders at startup and then drops 4 and only runs on 2 and maybe 3 every once in awhile. If I place my hands in front of the carbs I can keep her running and it seems she starts to run on more cylinders....
Not sure if it is the fuel pump?
