Honda 200 4 stroke starved for fuel

by Jean

Engine starts great! Runs well at low speeds, after throttling up it begins to shut down. Bulb for fuel collapses and engine acts like it is fuel starved! Water intake for cooling seems fine. Checked water seperator and maybe a little water not much. Drained the tank as much as we can in case of bad gas. Got any suggestions?

Anti siphon device

Had same issue. Search found built in tanks have antisiphon check valve on mounted tanks. Removed swelled neoprene check valve from tank elbow fitting solved it. Check valve is only needed if engine is low such as inboard.
