I had the engine running without the shifter connected to the gearbox. I connected it and now I can't get it to start or anything. I am sure there is a neutral sensor somewhere, but what I don't understand is that the throttle lever is in the exact same position as it was when it wasn't connected to the lower drive. Do I need to adjust the shifter?
