Are the props supposed to spin in idle. I recently changed the impeller on a force 85 i recently purchased for a steal with trailer .
I tested and ran the engine in a big water bucket and i made sure the thermostat opens and water is making it to the top. i noticed the prop spins in neutral . And my shifter is weird . When i advance in fast idle it goes max in the right position. But when i advance throttle in gear it goes almost 35% more forward down w.e how do i adjust the cable to fix this and what do i need to do to get the prop to stop in neutral if thats a issue.
Im going to take it on the water first time and i dont want it to jump when I start it because its in gear.
