I rebuilt carburetors and put a new power pack on it . It has been hard to start since I got it so I cleaned the plugs and I do have spark. I have not had the boat long , so I need some help. I also put a new cone shape fuel filter on it that is behind the air intake. I also push the key in and listened for a click noise from the fuel solenoid primer. I could here a click so I am assuming that it is working fine. It will run fine when it runs and can get it to start. I ran it today and stoped to fish and now it doesn’t want to start again. Not sure if it’s a fuel issue... choke issue... some talk about a kill switch issue. I’m not sure what to think anymore and could use some advise / help . The parts I used were CDI parts..new Power pack 6100 rpm and the new blue spark plug wires that go with it. I I also used champion plugs it called for. When I rebuilt the carburetors I used BRP Evinrude part kits. But I do have spark and my fuel solenoid seems to be working. I’m not sure what to look at next. Any suggestions ? Thanks for your time .
