Evinrude E25ELCEB

I need to replace the shift cable on my Evinrude 25 horsepower outboard. I can't find the model number for the cable anywhere. I need it to order another one. Does anyone know where I can find it? I've tried everywhere! The engine sits on a 1989 Lowe Tournament bass boat. All equipment is still all original. I am enclosing some photos of the cable and the control. Is it ok to use the controls until I can get a replacement cable? thanks everyone.
