The motor is on a 24 foot sailboat. The engine began to stall at idle, then would no longer start. I just took the carbeuretor off and find that it has oil in the carb. The portable 6 gal. fuel tank is brand new, along with the fuel line and connectors on both ends. The tank was filled with new gas prior to taking the boat out. Any idea on where the oil is coming from?
Pretty disappointing for a relatively new motor. I purchased the boat last year from an owner that purchased the motor as a leftover from a dealer. The motor has very limited use on it.
