I have replaced the stator, timer base, power pack,all 4 coils, all spark plugs.
I rebuilt the carbs and replaced all 4 reed valves.
IT has an occasional (at about 45 second intervals) cough where it spits out the exhaust.
I haven't timed it yet but I don't suspect the timing.
I believe that the carbs are in time.
The compression is at 115 psi + or - 10 psi.
I have fresh fuel with some octane booster added.
I just bought this motor a few months back and I want it to be reliable.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
