found a cylinder with no compression used a borescope and I can see a broken ring. I have contacted 3 different marine repair shops and they will not work on the engine. Said I should consider buying another engine. The engine only has 167 hours on it and seems in good shape. My question is should I fix it or scrape it. If you think it would be wise to fix do you have any recommendations on a repair shop that will work on it.
