I just pulled my 2011 Cobalt 230 out of storage and had to replace both batteries.
Boat has a volvo penta drive with the 5.0 GXI engine.
Upon starting, the gauges all read fine (temp, pressure...) but the check engine alarm will sound on and off.
Boat sounds fine but will not rev past 2500 rpm.
Is this some kind of safety mode ?
Boat had been stored about 10 months with half a tank of non ethanol gas and ran fine when it was put away.
