DF5 Suzuki

When I first start the engine there is a resonable flow of cooling water from the tell tale, but after a short while this slows to a drip. At this point I've switched it off, not wanting to damage the water pump. There doesn't appear to be any dirt in the intakes.

Run it in the water. NEW
by: Anonymous

My Suzuki 1984 DT75 had water flow problems not going to go into it it would take to long. Bottom line when I ran it in a tub of water it was ok at low RPm's high RPM's no flow! Once I got it to the lake it was fine had to have the water flowing into the intake. They are outlawing 2 stroke motors here in Commieforina I am going to be so screwed I can't afford 3 or 4k for a 4 stroke.

no water discharge

If it is strong when you first start then slows you probably have a blockage in the line, run either some very heavy fishing line or wire up thru the pee hole up as far as it will go then pull it out to see if it is cleared.
