My enginge keeps dropping to a single cylinder. This happens on average two or three times a week. Sometimes multiple times in one day. We use our engine every day on our dinghy to go ashore. The engine was new in October 2025 and we have put around 200 hours on it to date. I've changed the spark plugs.I do regular maintenance, oil changes, filter changes etc.
When this happens I get the red engine light. If I shut the engine off and restart, it goes away. The engine will run normally for a while then it comes back.
I'm leaning tward a fuel injection issue but not sure how to test for that.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
