I recently had the motor bored and rebuilt with new rods, pistons, etc due to a failed bilge pump allowing water to get into the oil tank that feeds the VRO. I sent the powerhead to a marine shop for repair. The shop told me I had water in the carbs when they inspected them. I got the motor back, disconnected the VRO and mixed oil directly into tank, plugged the oil hose to VRO and disconnected the VRO wires, installed all electrical on it and got is started. It starts right up and idles a bit rough. Don't recall motor shaking like it does now. In low idle the rpms go up/down slightly. I'm in the process of breaking it in so the fuel/oil is 25:1 ATM. I also have fuel/oil coming from all 3 carb intakes. It seems they are all leaking the same amount out the front of them and dripping into lower part of motor. I read something about the primer adjustment having manual and auto fuel supply. It stated 6 oclock position was auto and 9 oclock was manual (constant) but if I adjust the red arrow to 6 the motor dies. Does the primer have anything to do with this issue? I wouldn't think needle valve or float issues would be the problem since all 3 carbs are doing it. The shop owner told me the carbs might need adjusted since they couldn't actually run the motor after doing the work. Im hoping this is just fine tuning issues.
Btw thank you for having a simple forum to ask questions and all the time put into it.
