Boat runs great! But at 4600-4700 rpm (manual shows 4400-4800 max rpm) the guardian alarm goes off at constant beep till I throttle down to 1000 rpm then . Oil pressure good
Temp good. Charging system good. I still have about 1/4 throttle left to go when rpm hits 4700 and alarm goes off. I have 17p prop and boat is 25’ Bennington tritoon With 4.3l mpi. Since I have 1/4 throttle left to go would upsizing prop stop this?
Or is throttle not supposed to go all the way down?
