Bought this motor new. I can run it for months and then all of a sudden it will sputter, running around 3500 rpm. A dew times it will seem like it will stop. I can up the throttle running 5-5000 rpm and it runs fine. Then for a while it runs no problem, then acts up again. The in line fuel filter is changed regularly. I also have a fuel/ water separator. No grey fuel line. Plugs changed. Fuel tank checked, pickup tube and filter checked and installed a new fuel tank check valve fitting.
I see no electrical anomalies or interruptions.
