2017 Mercury 40 hp 4 Stroke

When I turn the key I get the beep, but there is a 2-3 hesitation before the motor starts to turn over. After a couple tries, the motor starts and runs ok. Seems to start ok after it has been run for a bit. Wondering if this may be the battery?

Yea my boat does the same thing. 1st turn goes click 2nd turn starts and runs great did you ever solve the problem?
