on my 2017 Honda 115 HP outboard on my 21 FT pontoon the red engine light comes on and the alarm is constant when I go past 4000 rpm with a full load of people or if my prop has too many weeds on it. I can stop shut the motor off and start it almost immediately. Is the light and the alarm just telling me I need to address a problem or have I actually over heated the motor? or over revved the prop?
