Motor makes a high pitched whining sound at certain RPMs. Had an rock impact with the motor before this started to happen. Did not do a repair on the lower unit, but rather purchased a factory replacement lower unit. Came with vertical shaft, water pump, and complete lower gear case. The whining started after that. I thought it might be the shaft bearing, so I took it apart and replaced the bearing. Whining improved but is still there. Wondering if it will take some time for,the shaft to seat the new bearing.
