I have a 2014 G3 Tritoon with a Yamaha 150 SHO. Motor starts and runs just fine, but if we go out, and run about 2/3 throttle for a while, all of a sudden the motor goes back to an idle (prop still turns), and there is no throttle response at all. If you shut the engine off and restart it, it seems to fix it and you can continue on until the next time it happens and then repeat the procedure. I am new to boats, and I don't want to get stranded out on the water! Also--the throttle lever seems a little loose also--it doesn't stay when you push it forward--you have to hold it. Anybody have any ideas? Thank you!
