I am getting four or five beep tones that reoccur every 3-4 minutes while underway. Idles without beep tones.
I drained the fuel thinking it was a water in the fuel warning.
I changed the thermostat
the Telltale flows well
the intakes are open. I fished a lawn trimmer line up the intakes to the top of the engine block without effort.
Engine has been used only in fresh water.
impeller was changes three seasons ago. I am going to do that next but I an worried of driving the boat to the ramp and damaging the motor.
Any ideas? Can I run the motor without the thermostat to get it to the ramp>
