I am looking at buying a 2005 chaparral 236 sunesta that has about a 2'x3' area that the fiberglass has been tore off. I can probably get this boat with trailer for about $1k but the hull needs fixed. Everything with this boat is in good shape. Is it worth buying and fixing or are there places I can get another boat like this with mechanical issues and replace items from this boat? Any feedback would help
