have a 2002 50 hp mercury outboard. Always has been hard to start and to keep idleing. once i do manage to get it into gear i can only go at a slow speed. once i try to throttle up the engine dies. I had the carbs rebuilt and it ran fine for a while and now back to the issue again. is this a mercury problem?
