I set my static timing like this:
Sticker says Idle 4 ATDC WOT 20 BTDC
Remove & ground spark plugs
Unhook White/Blk wire
Set Idle to 4 ATDC
Set WOT to 26 BTDC
Rehook up white/black wire & recheck timing
idle still at 4 degrees
WOT now reads 20 BTDC
