Engine runs fine with earmuffs. Put in water it won’t run after put in gear and start to accelerate. Carbs have been cleaned and tank emptied and fresh fuel and oil added. Local mechanic said fuel pump possibly bad but said he didn’t work on Johnson’s anymore. Added fuel pump just prior to bulb wired to ignition. This did not illicit any change to the way engine runs. What other possibilities could it be.
