I recently got a steel cable wrapped around my prop, it has a plastic cover on the cable.( apparently it was attached to a cement block, probably used to tie up jet skis). I beached my boat there and backed out, when I went to go on plane, my rpms were okay, but I couldn't get on plane. I idled around for a little while, then ramped my boat. I pulled the boat out and noticed the cable, it came off pretty easy, but I noticed a scoring where the prop is secured. Since then I get a loud , noticeable "clunk" as I idle and slow speed. I don't get it or at least notice it at high speeds. Any Ideas?
