Just picked up and put it on my 91 barefoot Sanger. Looks to have low hrs on it and compression is 110psi across the board. Changed fuel/water separator and new plugs. Used recommended champ. Took out for first noticed vibration just off a idle in gear but smooths out just after that around 1500 rpms. Has a ton of power will almost leap out of water on hole shot. The problem is as I’m under power at any time if I hit the up trim it instantly looses power but still continues to gane speed just not as strong and does this intail you let off the trim switch. ??? Does same thing trimming up or down under load. Any help?
I also noticed that you can take off and get it trimmed out and other than to loss of power wails on the button it gets to that nice trimmed out 5200 rpms and sometimes no matter you try to do it will only run up to 4300 or so? But no telling but you can stop and start again and it may run great or not ?
